Yeti, my friend, won the Parents’ Picks Awards 2023 for The Best Products for Elementary Kids 2023.

We are super delighted to announce that Yeti, my friend, is a winner of the Parents’ Picks Awards. Yeti, my friend, won the award for The Best Products for Elementary Kids 2023. We were chosen among thousands of products and services that cater to elementary school children in the United States, and this seal of approval from the parents and the community makes us happier!

The prestigious award showcases parent-tested and kid-approved products and services that go through a rigorous approval process. This process includes more than 50 criteria measurements, such as thinking skills, character building, engagement, ease of use, innovativeness, quality, durability, and creative thinking. For this year’s awards, Parents’ Picks Award Winners were chosen based on essential elementary skills that are served by the products and services. Examples include cognitive development, social and emotional development, building independence and responsibility, exposure to diverse learning opportunities, development of learning skills, etc.

Yeti, my friend, was also recently selected to be part of the AI-first Google for Startups Cloud program. We are an AI-based storytelling experience for children to build next-generation competencies through real-world topics. We have run our pilot programs with a couple of schools, and the feedback we have received from children and educators is heart-warming!

Our early feedback from both parents and children has been very positive, indicating increased engagement across the modules (300+ mini-adventures and modules completed).

Our Mission

Help every child thrive and make a difference in a dynamic world.

We at Yeti, my friend, serve our larger mission through our focus on building and nurturing core competencies (aka next-generation competencies) in children (K-5):

  • The ability to create innovative solutions for new-age challenges.

  • The ability to care for self and others.

  • The ability to commit to lifelong learning, self-improvement, and improving the world around them.

Our Philosophy

At Yeti, my friend, we believe that:

  • Teaching children to think critically and building their character will unlock their learning potential and improve their ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving world.

  • When leveraged mindfully, technology can actively engage the learner through self-directed interest and curiosity and achieve meaningful learning outcomes at scale.

As we continue to build out our product and serve the needs of our younger learners, we would love to hear from you! Try out our product and share your feedback at hello@yetimyfriend.com
